Gautam Buddha Nagar

Gautam Buddha Nagar is an important district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. This district was established on June 9, 1997, cutting down some rural and semi-urban areas of Bulandshahr and Ghaziabad districts. Mulayam Singh Yadav dissolved this district when the power change was over in the state, against which the people here had a strong movement against it. Later, in view of public pressure, the Uttar Pradesh government had to change its decision and the district was restored.

Today the situation is that Gautam Buddha Nagar is playing its main role in the revenue of the district state. The district headquarters adjacent to the National Capital Territory of Delhi is located in Greater Noida.

History:
This district was established on June 9, 1997, cutting down some rural and semi-urban areas of Bulandshahr and Ghaziabad districts. Today, commercial sub-metropolis like Noida and Greater Noida have been added. Dadri Legislative Assembly has also become a part of this district.

 The Dadri, where the public contributed a lot in the first independence season of 1857. 84 people, including Rao Umrao Singh of Dadri, played an important role in the revolution of the freedom struggle. In the middle of the Bulandshahr to Lalkunwa, the revolutionaries strained the nose of English rule. On which the British had executed 84 revolutionaries of the region, including Rao Umrao Singh, on black mango in Bulandshahr.

The walk of Bulandshahr is still popular in this regard. At the same time, the English Hukomat was stripped of the property of the revolutionaries family. Their houses were broken. Even today in the memory of the martyrs, there is a Shaheed column located in Dadri tehsil Pasisar. On which the names of 84 revolutionaries are mentioned. There is a statue of Rao Umrao Singh on Dad Thirah of Dadri. Every year, on 15th August and 26th January, programs are organized by various social organizations and prominent people. The idol of freedom fighter Rao Umrao Singh in Dadri can still be seen today.

Before that, on 11 September 1803, as a memorial of the decisive battle between the British Army and the Marathas army, the "Vindhagad Column" created by the British architect F. Lisman demonstrating the memory of the British General Gerard Lake in Noida's golf course campus. It is still visible from far away.

Historically, Dankaur, Bisarak, Rampur Manchar and Nalgarha villages have many memories. Dronacharya in Dankaur and the ancient temple of Rishi, Vishva Sriva, father of Ravana in Bisarak is still present. The famous revolutionary Ram Prasad, 'Bismil', who had been absconding during the freedom struggle in 1919 during the freedom struggle in Greater Noida, remained for some time and translated the books while feeding the beasts of the goose. In the Nalagarh village on the edge of Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, Bhagat Singh conducted several bomb-tests while underground. Even today there is a huge stone kept safe.

Importance:
The importance of this district is due to the major industrial units coming under its borders and the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, due to the highly developed industrial authorities like Noida, Greater Noida, adjusted in the National Capital Region, has become even more elaborate. From Greater Noida to Agra, the 165 kilometers long Yamuna Expressway has installed four moons in its significance.
