Ram Prakash Gupta

Ram Prakash Gupta (born: 26 October 1923 - 1 May 2004) was the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and the Governor of Madhya Pradesh. He is a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party His birth place is Jhansi.

He has also been Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh when Chaudhary Charan Singh had formed a government by uniting non-Congress parties in 1967. He has been the Minister of Industry in the Government of the 1977 Janata Party.

Politics:
In the year 1956, the organization of the organization of the Jana Sangh was appointed and he was entrusted with ten districts in the central part of Uttar Pradesh, which also included Lucknow.

After the Emergency, for the first time in the General Election of June 1977, Janata Party ticket was elected from Lucknow Central constituency to the members of the Legislative Assembly. In the Cabinet of Shri Ram Naresh Yadav, from June 23, 1977, to February 11, 1979, Heavy Industries, Small Industries, Handloom, and Handicraft Department, and from September 15, 1977, to February 11, 1979, contributed to the rural industries departments. In the year 1993, elected members of the Legislative Assembly for the second time from his old constituency in Lucknow Central.
