Dhalai

Dhalai is a district of the Indian state of Tripura. The district headquarters is Ambasa. Area here - 2,523 square kilometers, and population - 3,07,868 (2001 census). This district is famous for its natural beauty. Most of the area of fodder is surrounded by mountains and forests. Manu, areDhalai, and Kowis the major rivers here. Two major high mountains located in Dhalai are Longshirai in the East and Atharamura in the west. The Longthirai Temple and the Kamleshwara Temple are among the main attractions. Government Museum:
The Tripura Government Museum provides tourists, students, public, nd researchers, etc., all of the state's past and current history and tradition information. Most of the sculptures displayed here are quite old. The statues found here are from Udaipur, Pilik, Jollyighi and other places in Tripura. Apart from this, the collection of all the idols obtained by Pillak is quite beautiful. This is a mixture of Hindu and Buddhist traditions. It is famous for its style and its various themes.

Agartala:
The major attraction centers in Agartala are Ujjonta Palace, State Museum, Tribal Museum, Sukanta Academy, MBB. College, Laxminarayan Temple, Uma Maheshwar Temple, Jagannath Temple, Benuban Bihar, Gedu Min Mosque, Malancha Residences, Ravindra Kanan, Purbasha, Handicraft Center, Fourteenth Devi Temple, Church etc.

 Ujjaina Palace:
Ujjainta Palace at Agartala is a royal palace. This palace is spread within a square kilometer radius. This palace was constructed by Maharaja Radha Kishor Manik during 1899-1901 AD. The palace houses beautiful tiles, most of the woodwork and beautiful handmade artwork on the doors. This palace has been prepared in the style of the vast Mughal Gardens. The architecture of Ujjayanta Palace is quite attractive. In addition, there is three high domes in the palace.

Longshirai Temple:
Longshirai is the name of Lord Shiva. It is believed that Lord Shiva had rested for some time on the Logthirai Mountain during his Kailash Yatra. This temple is situated on this mountain. Logthirai also means deep valley. This temple is situated on National Highway 44, 102 kilometers from Agartala. It is also an ideal place for nature lovers too. Thousands of people come here on the Langhiri temple located in this beautiful place.

Kamleshvari Temple:
Kamleshwari is another name for Kali. This temple is situated in the heart of Kamalpur city. Kamleshwari Temple is situated about 35 kilometers from Ambasa and 122 kilometers from Agartala.
