Chandra shekhar

Chandrashekhar Singh (born April 17, 1927 - died 8 July 2007) was the ninth Prime Minister of India.

Biography:
Early life:
He was born in 1927 in a farming family of Ibrahimpatti in Ballia district of eastern Uttar Pradesh. His schooling took place at Ram Karan Inter College, Bhimpura. He did MA degree from Allahabad University. He was known in the student politics as a "firebrand". After the student life, he became active in socialist politics.

Political life:
From 1962 to 1967 he was a member of the Upper House Rajya Sabha of India. He made the trek of India in 1984, from which he tried to understand India well. Indira Gandhi got a little distraction from this podium. When the Janata Party government was formed in 1977, he took the office of the National President of the Janata Party without holding a ministerial post.

After the resignation of former leader Vishwanath Pratap Singh, he founded some Samajwadi Janata Party with some leaders from the Janata Dal. His government became the minority majority government after the Indian National Congress supported the election. Their relationship with the Congress was later changed by the Congress due to the accusation of threatening them with leader Rajiv Gandhi. After the Congress refused to cooperate with his government, he announced his resignation with the support of 60 MPs.

Chandrasekhar, who stayed for 7 months in the post of Prime Minister, resigned in March 6, 1991. He took over as prime minister till the national election. Chandrasekhar was known for his parliamentary conversation. He also got the Outstanding Parlimentarian Award in 1995.

Chandra Shekhar was a member of India's Lower House Lok Sabha. He led the Samajwadi Janata Party (National) here. From 1977 he won the Lok Sabha election 8 times from the Ballia region of Uttar Pradesh. In 1984, due to the indignation of Indira Gandhi's assassination, once elections were defeated.

Shekharji was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a type of Plasma Tum Cancer. On May 3, 2007, he was admitted to the hospital in critical condition for the treatment of this disease. His condition deteriorated and finally he died in hospital in New Delhi in July 8th.
