Introduction: 
Hardwar has been a heart of holy and mythological importance from the early period.
Haridwar and hardwar have been given many names in the prehistoric time.
Haridwar has a verbal meaning that is the “gateway to the lodging of gods”.
A holy city that has been remembered by different names in our gospel and ancient mythological epics.

History:
   Dwar of Hari is a religious city established at the base of Shivalik ranges of high Himalayas as well as on the flow way of revered River Ganga.
 It is believed that by taking a dive in this holy river, one is cleared of all his past immorality.
 Lakhs of adore from all over India visit Haridwar each year to take a dive in the holy River Ganga.


Maa Ganga after hauling the purity of paradise from the kamandal of Lord Brahma, washing the feet of Lord Vishnu and flowing through the sahastrara of Lord Shiva came on this earth and made Haridwar as its heavenly flow area. From time primeval, Maa Ganga has been doing the faith of intriguing the heat and negativities of this earth. It's Gateway for the four dhams of  Himalayas like. Gangotri, Yamunotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath.

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (5 September 1888 - 17 April 1975) was the first Vice-President of India (1952-1962) and the second President.
