Shankardayal Sharma

Dr. Shankardayal Sharma (19th August 1918 - 26th December, 1999) was the ninth President of India. His tenure lasted from July 25, 1992 to July 25, 1997. Before becoming President you were also the eighth Vice President of India; You were Chief Minister of Bhopal (1952-1956) and as Minister of Cabinet level in Madhya Pradesh, he took charge of the Ministry of Education, Law, Public Works, Industry and Commerce Was there. Education and Early Life:
Doctor Sharma received education from St John's College, Agra, Agra College, Allahabad University, Lucknow University, Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge University, Lincoln Inn and Harvard Law School. He holds MA in Hindi, English and Sanskrit literature. Degree of the degree obtained with the first place in the university, you have the L.L.M. Political Initiation:
In the 1940s, he joined the freedom movement of India, for this, he joined the Congress Party, became Chief Minister of Bhopal in 1952, remained in this post till 1956, when the merger of Bhopal was done in other states by Madhya Pradesh. .

Active Political Life:
In the 1960s, he helped Indira Gandhi gain leadership of the Congress Party.
