Ramesh Pokhriyal

Ramesh Pokhriyal "Nishank" (born August 15, 1958) is an Indian politician. He is a prominent leader of Uttarakhand Bharatiya Janata Party and is also a Hindi poet. personal life:
He was born in Pinani village, Pauri Garhwal in the then Uttar Pradesh (now Uttarakhand) Parmanand Pokhariyal and Vishwambhari Devi's house. Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' was married to Kusum Kant Pokhariyal.

He obtained the degree of Arts Post Graduate, PhD (Honor), De Litt (Honor) from Uttarakhand, Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Sri Nagar (Garhwal). Political life:
Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' is an Indian politician belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party. In 1991, for the first time, he was elected from the Karanpuraag constituency. After this, in 1995 and 1996 again, the same constituency was elected to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. In 1997, he became Uttaranchal Development Minister of Uttar Pradesh state government. He is a member of Parliament in the 16th Lok Sabha, and was Chief Minister of Uttarakhand from 2009 to 2011.

Presently Haridwar of Uttarakhand represents the parliamentary constituency and is a senior member of Bharatiya Janata Party.

Chief Minister's tenure:
Be the fifth Chief Minister of Uttarakhand from 2009 to 2011. Dr Nishank resolved complex and sensitive issues like inclusion of Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand state with the help of political skill, knowledge and sound coordination skills in the Chief Minister. Various successful attempts have been made to bring Himalayan culture in the international forum. To encourage the small scale industry to operate from the state, central sales tax was reduced from 4% to 1%. 364 depots were opened for all essential items and commodities of the state and in this way, the revenue of 61.75 crores to 128 crores was increased. An increase of 1100 crores from Rs 575 crores in total tax collection.

With the help of science and technology, many schemes started to increase the lifestyle and lifestyle level of people living in hilly areas. Tang Ganga campaign started to clean the Ganges river and to free its pollution.

Literary life:
Dr. Nishank has been writing poems and stories since childhood. Although his first collection of poems 'surrender' was published in the year 1983. Till now, more than 4 dozen books have been published, including all of your 10 poems collections, 12 story collections, 10 novels, 2 tourism texts, 6 child literature, 2 personality development, even today, despite their busy schedules, their writing is still in progress.

Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' is a fundamental literary genre. So far, his works published in all the literature of Hindi literature (poetry, novel, volume poetry, short story, travel literature etc.) have given them a respectable place in Hindi literature. The feeling of nationalism is filled with punishments in them. This is the reason that his name is included in the category of the nationalists.

It is the originality and origin of Dr. Nishank's literature that till now his literature has been translated into many languages of the world (German, English, French, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi etc.). Apart from this, his literature has been included in the courses of Madras, Chennai and Hamburg University. So far, many educators on their literature (Dr. Shyamdhar Tiwari, Dr. Vinay Dabral, Dr. Nagendra, Dr. Savita Mohan, Dr. Nand Kishore and Dr. Sudhakar Tiwari) are doing research work and Ph.D. Have written the report.

Even now, research work on many National and International Universities (Garhwal University, Kumaun University, Sagar University, Madhya Pradesh, Rohelkhand University, Madras University, University of Hamburg, University of Lucknow and Meerut University) is continuing on the literature of Dr. Nishank.
