Narayan Dutt Tiwari

Narayan Dutt Tiwari is the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand (then Uttara Panchayat). She is a senior leader of the Indian National Congress.

personal life:
Narayan Dutt Tiwari was born in 1925 in Baluati village of Nainital district. Then neither the Uttar Pradesh was formed. This part of India has been known as United Provinces since 1937 and after the independence of the Constitution, it got the name of Uttar Pradesh. Tiwari's father, Puranand Tiwari, was an officer in the forest department. Obviously then their economic condition would have been good.

On the call of Mahatma Gandhi's Non-Cooperation Movement, Purnanand resigned from his post. Narayan Dutt Tiwari started his education in Haldwani, Bareilly and Nainital. Surely due to his father's transfer, he completed his studies while living in another city.

Like his father, he also joined the freedom struggle. In 1942, he was caught in the charge of printing and supporting posters and pamphlets slogans against the imperialist policies of the British Government. They were arrested and put in Nainital jail His father Puranand Tiwari was already locked in this jail. After 15 months of jail, he became free in 1944.

Tiwari later made an MA in Political Science from Allahabad University. He had topped the university in the examination of the MA. He later also got LLB degree from this University. In the year 1947, he was elected president of the student union at this university.

It was the first staircase of his political life. After independence in 1950, in the formation of Uttar Pradesh and in the first assembly elections of 1951-52, Tiwari took part in the Nainital (North) seat as a Socialist Party candidate. Despite the Congress' wind, they won the elections and reached the House as a member of the first assembly. It is very interesting that Tiwari, who was the Congress leader in the days to come, started the Socialist Party. In the 431-member assembly, 20 people from the Socialist Party were elected. Tiwari's relationship with Congress began in 1963.

In 1965, he was elected from Kashipur Assembly Constituency on Congress ticket and for the first time, he got a place in the Council of Ministers. His shift with the Congress lasted several years. He was a major contributor to the establishment of Jawaharlal Nehru Yuva Kendra in 1968. From 1969 to 1971 he was the president of the youth organization of the Congress. On 1 January 1976, he became the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for the first time. This term was extremely short. Because of the Jaiprakash agitation of 1977, his government had to resign on April 30.

Tiwari was chief minister of Uttar Pradesh three times. He is the only politician who has been the chief minister of two states. After the division of Uttar Pradesh, he also became the Chief Minister of Uttaranchal. They are also remembered as Union Ministers. There was a time when in 1990, after the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi, his claim as Prime Minister was also discussed. But finally, the Congress has been stamped under the name of PV Narasimha Rao. Later, Tiwari was made the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, but his term here was very controversial.

political life:
Senior Congress leader Narayan Dutt Tiwari was shocked at the time when DNA report regarding his blood sample was made public in the Delhi High Court and according to that report, Rohit Shekhar Tiwari, who filed a furlough dispute, is the son of ND Tiwari.

32-year-old Rohit Shekhar Tiwari, who lives in Delhi, claims that ND Tiwari is his biological father and Rohit and his mother Ujjwala Tiwari have proved that this claim was proved against the ND Tiwari in court four years ago in 2008. Paternity case was filed.

The court had heard the case and on the court's order, on May 29, ND Tiwari had to give his blood for DNA investigation.

A blood sample of ND Tiwari was taken under the court's supervision in the residence of Dehradun. A few days ago, the Center for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics, ie CDFD, Hyderabad handed over the investigation report of the blood sample to the court.

In this sealed report of CDFD, the DNA test report of ND Tiwari also includes Rohit Shekhar Tiwari and Rohit Shekhar Tiwari's mother Ujjwala Tiwari. Although ND Tiwari does not want his DNA test report to be public, he also gave a petition to keep it confidential in the court, but the court rejected it and issued an order to open it.
