Narendra Damodardas Modi is the current Prime Minister of India. Indian President Pranab Mukherjee administered him the oath of office of Prime Minister of India on May 26, 2014. Narendra Modi was born in Vadnagar district of the then Bombay state, in a middle-class family of Hiraben Modi and Damodardas Mulchand Modi, in Vadnagar district on September 17, 1950. Early activism and politics:

As Chief Minister of Gujarat:
