He started his life with the determination of living as a pracharak of the RSS and lived with complete determination to reach the highest office of the country. Vajpayee was the first Prime Minister of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government to complete 5 years of non-Congress Prime Minister's post without any problems. He formed a government from a coalition of 24 parties, which included 81 ministers. Never did any party ignore it. This shows their leadership potential.

He has recently retired from politics and lives in a government house located 6-A Krishna Menon Road in New Delhi.

Early life:
Pandit Krishna Bihari Vajpayee, a native of Bateshwar, who was an ancient place of Agra district in Uttar Pradesh, was a teacher in Gwalior principality of Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, on 25 December 1924 in Shinde's camp, Atal Ji was born to Krishna Vajpayee's Kok in Brahma Mahurat. Father Krishna Bihari Vajpayee used to do teaching work in Gwalior; besides this, he was also a well-versed poet of Hindi and Braj language. In the son, the qualities of poetry were derived from hereditary practice. Reading the immortal masterpiece "Vijay Anaka" written by Mahatma Ramchandra Veer changed the direction of the life of Atal ji. Atal Ji's education was done in Victoria College of Gwalior (currently Laxmibai College). From the student life he became a volunteer of the RSS and since then he has continued to participate in national level debate competitions. After passing the M.E. examination in the first year from DAV College of Kanpur in Political Science. After that, he started his studies with LPL in Kanpur as well as his father, but he interrupted him in the middle and joined in the work of the Sangh with full devotion. Under the direction of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, the lessons of politics have been read, along with the work of educating the publication of papers such as Panchjanya, Nationalism, Daily Swadesh and Veer Arjuna.

He was awarded Bharat Ratna in December 2014 for his contribution to the development of extravagant development and extraordinary work.

political life:
He is one of the founders of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh and he has also served as its national president from 1968 to 1973. In 1955, he contested for the first time in the Lok Sabha election but did not get success. But he did not give up, and in 1957, he reached the Lok Sabha as Balrampur (District Gonda, Uttar Pradesh) as a candidate of Jan Sangh. From 1957 to 1977, till the establishment of the Janata Party, he remained a leader of the Jana Sangh's parliamentary party for twenty years. In the government of Morarji Desai, from 1977 to 1979, he remained foreign minister and made India's image abroad.

Dissatisfied with the Janata Party in 1980, he left the Janata Party and helped to establish Bharatiya Janata Party. Vajpayee was also given the responsibility of the post of Bharatiya Janata Party, which was formed on April 6, 1980. Two elections were also held for the Rajya Sabha. The democratically guardian, Atal Bihari Vajpayee took over the reins of the country in 1997 as the Prime Minister. On 19th April 1998, he again took the oath of the prime minister and under his leadership, the alliance of 13 parties touched many dimensions of progress within the country within five years.

In the Lok Sabha elections held in the fierce heat before the completion of the term in 2004, the National Democratic Alliance led by Bharatiya Janata Party (NDD) contested under Vajpayee's leadership and gave a slogan to India Shining (India Shining in English). No party got a majority in this election. In such a situation, with the backing of the Left parties, the Congress has succeeded in establishing India's central government and has been forced to sit in the opposition. He has recently retired from politics and lives in a government house located 6-A Krishna Menon Road in New Delhi.

Atal's tenure as Prime Minister:
Making India a Nuclear Power Nation:
The Atal government declared India as a nuclear power-rich country on 11th and 13th May 1998 by exploding five underground nuclear tests in Pokhran. With this step, he established India as a strong global force indisputably on the world map. All this was done so confidentially that highly endowed espionage satellites and technical endeavors of western countries did not even notice it. Not only that, many restrictions were imposed by India on the West, but the Vajpayee Government toured the highs of economic development while facing everyone firmly.

Initiative to improve relations with Pakistan:
On February 19, 1999, the bus service was started from Delhi to Lahore by the name Sadah-e-Sarhad. Inaugurating the service, Vajpayee, as the first passenger to visit Pakistan, met Nawaz Sharif and made a fresh start in mutual relations.

Kargil war:
Shortly afterward, Pakistani Army and militants occupied Kargil area and captured many hill peaks upon the assassination of then Pervez Musharraf, then Pakistani Chief of Army Staff. The Atal government, while respecting the international advice of not violating the Pakistan border, patiently but firmly carried out the Indian territory. Due to unfavorable circumstances in this war, the Indian Army suffered a lot of loss of life and relations with Pakistan started once again to zero.

Golden Quadrilateral Project:
Golden Quadrilateral project was started for connecting four corners across India by road. Under this, Delhi, Calcutta, Chennai and Mumbai were connected to the highway. It is believed that all the roads that were created in India during the reign of Atal Ji were only in the time of Sher Shah Suri.

As a poet, Atal:
Atal Bihari Vajpayee is a politician as well as a poet. My aquan poems are the famous poetry collection of Atal Ji. Vajpayee Ji has inherited the qualities of poetic creativity and rasavadwas. His father, Krishna Bihari Vajpayee, was a well-known poet of his time in the Gwalior principality. They used to compose poetry in Brajbhasha and Khadi bhojan. Because the family atmosphere is literary and poetic, the poetic blood circulation continues steadily in their veins. His first poem was the Taj Mahal. In it, not only did the love of the sweet love of Rishra but also "the emperor has made the love of the poor Taj Mahal, we have created the love of the poor." He also went on the exploitation of the artisans of the Taj Mahal. In fact, no poet heart can ever be deprived of poetry. Apart from politics, his personal sensitivity towards the nation and the nation has always been intensified. The effect and perception of many aspects of their struggles, changeable circumstances, a nationwide movement, prison-life etc. have always manifested in poetry. Famous ghazal singer Jagjit Singh also composed the songs of Atal ji and composed an album.
